Officiant - Danny 



Danny is Megan’s only sibling. Often referred to as the golden child Danny has been a superstar since the day he was born. But that is not what wows Megan the most about Danny. It’s the way that he texts to check in or send a meme randomly on Megan’s hard Day as if he has a sixth sense when she needs him. It’s how they don’t need to even say anything in a situation but both end up cracking up and everyone thinks they are crazy. And most importantly it’s that no matter what life has and will throw at them they face it as a team. Danny is an obvious choice to megan and Rachael when they were picking an officiant because he has been there for their whole journey and has been their number 1 fan. Megan and Rachael are so thankful he took on this task and hope this day is worth the $29.99 it took to become ordained

Kelly is Megan’s oldest cousin she is the one Megan goes to for any and all advice. She has always been like an older sister to Megan and even introduced her to the essentials in life; orange crushes, how to survive college and most importantly chipotle. Megan had the privilege of being Kelly’s maid of honor and she couldn’t be happier that Kelly gets to be hers.

Liz is Megan’s cousin. She is Megan’s hype girl and wild child. There is nothing that Megan and Liz do that isn’t a blast. From Black Friday shopping to moving eachother into new homes and apartments to wine nights there’s nothing that can stop the two of them when they are together. Their love for Zillow and Dunkin is unmatched and megan is so excited to have her stand by her side on this big day.


Tiff is one of Megan’s oldest and dearest friends. Throwing it back to the days at Grover middle school where uggs and monkey Aeropostale shirts were cool. Tiff and Megan have gone through so many life stages together and continue to become closer and closer at each stage. The Shortie to her tallie Tiff is always that phone call in the middle of the night when something is wrong. From rice ball night to exploring random breakfast diners all over the state of New Jersey Megan is so lucky to have Tiff in her life. Megan had the pleasure of standing by tiffs side at her wedding and is so lucky to have tiff stand by her side. 


We can’t talk about rice ball night with Tiff without mentioning Megan other Gagliardo bestie. Rachel was brought into Megan’s life as “ Tiff’s sister” but it didn’t take long before Megan and Rachel realized that they are the same person. From becoming teachers and coaching to completing a rider masters program together they have really been glued to eachothers side. They have seen eachother at ultimate stress levels and still were able to calm eachother down and laugh about it. Rachel truly is Megan’s mini me and Megan is so excited to have rachel by her side on this big day! 


Another home town hero Amy is Megan’s oldest friend. From youth group to middle school softball Amy and Megan have quite the resume of extra curriculars together and have only added to the list since. Amy is one of the only people that is on the approved Disney guest list according to Theresa Fitzpatrick and seems to be closing in on the Fitzpatrick favorite child title due to her love for Epcot and her choice to move to flordia where the Fitzpatrick’s now live. Amy and Megan hang out and it’s like no time has passed at all they can sit and talk and laugh for hours and they know that they always have eachothers backs no matter what. As to quote Megan’s favorite disney character Megan loves Amy to inifinity and beyond and is so excited to have her stand by her side!





Emdog and Megan were in the same program at James Madison. After their first class in the program they noticed that they would both take the same bus back to campus and go get lunch. Finally after weeks of awkwardly being in line for lunch together they decided to sit together and once they got talking they never stopped. Megan and Emdog talk on the phone every morning before work and Megan truly couldn’t imagine life without those phone calls. Emily is Megan’s voice of reason and has been a sound board for so many big life decisions. Megan was lucky enough to stand by Emdogs on her big day and can’t wait for her to stand by Megan’s side! 



Megan and Keriann shared a wall in college for years. They had their own tapping language and when one of them needed the other they would come running. This hasn’t stopped since entering adulthood they are always there when the other person needs them. Keriann and Megan share a love for country music, JMU and Cookout. Keriann lives in Long Island and the first time Amanda and Megan went to visit her the GPS took them right through Timesquare. Megan thought that that drive would be her last but now it is just a funny story to tell and a route to never take again. Megan was lucky enough to stand by Keriann’s side when she got married and can’t wait for her to stand by hers! 


Amanda is another JMU friend. Amanda and Megan bonded over their love for jersey and their long drive homes in Megan’s first car that was a cool convertible but was living on a prayer every trip. Amanda and Megan bonded over church music, long heart to hearts and trips to the jersey shore. Amanda is Megan’s sports loving friend who is always down for an adventure. Megan and Amanda realized that they aren’t really good at top golf but their friendship is top tier. Megan cannot wait to have Amanda stand by her side on her big day.



Finishing off Megan’s bridal party is Megan’s work BFF Karyne. Their friendship started when they began working at Lawrence middle school the same year. From new teacher training on they immediately became inseparable. Karyne is Megan’s go to friend for anything and everything. She is always down for a fun night out or to learn how to put an ikea dresser together. Karyne and Megan have navigated adulthood together and Megan is so thankful that a job brought them together. Karyne is a true friend and Megan is so excited to have her by her side. 


Lucas is Kelly’s (Megan’s maid of Honor) son. He loves trucks and food and will surely steal the show the day of the wedding. Megan and Rachael are so excited to have him guard our rings!


Josie is Karynes daughter. She loves Elmo and pizza and has been practicing throwing flowers since the day we asked her! Megan and Rachael can’t wait to have her be one of our flower girls!


Mia is Megan and Rachael’s neice. She is Liz and kerems daughter and is the star of all shows. She loves Frozen and doughnuts and knows everyone’s favorite color! Rachael and Megan are so excited to have her be one of our flower girls! 


Though growing up they were quite different (Liz wanting to play makeover, Rachael wanting to play soccer shirtless), they formed into the closet of friends and even roommates for the fabled stint on east hagert street. They have never been known to turn down a dive bar or Sunday funday, but now they live (somewhat) calmer lives mostly doing whatever Mia tells them to do. 
But, They have been known to bust out old dance routines, sing Sunday school rhymes or perform as the Haybes sisters “sister” after a few cocktails-watch out! 


aside from Liz, the oldest veteran of the friend group. They met on the Archbishop wood swim team where they were named “the evil twins” and have been causing trouble ever since. Bridget was an honorary roommate of Hagert street and had the absolute pleasure of a lifetime road tripping cross country with Rachael for her first travel job. Bridget’s a major boss b*** at comcast, but every once in a while Rachael can convince her to unplug and go off grid down the Grand Canyon, star gazing in Montana or lobster hunting in Maine.


“her real name is Amanda but you’ll never hear us call her that” 
is also an ABW survivor and swim team alum. Though my first memory of monger is her tossing me across the pool locker room for making fun of her orange Gatorade, her salty/sweet attitude and willingness to quickly put Rachael in her place has made her a friend for life. She was also roped into many of Rachael’s travel adventures- don’t ask about Betty dangers (we probably couldn’t tell you about it anyway). Most recently she has been saving Megan and Rachael from insanity with her expertise on paint colors, home improvement strategies and most importantly, a strong old fashioned 



Scranton gal and 408 alum
Rachael and Kellie met when their main diet consisted of buffalo chicken pizza and exercise meant running across the street to Pennie’s. She also can’t let go of the time the fire alarm went off in their sophomore dorm and Kellie evacuated alone leaving Rachael, Bridget and bean to their own devices. Now, Kellie has won the ultimate prize of convincing Rachael and Megan to move across the bridge and join them in south jersey and have shown them all the fine dining establishments- like the oaklyn manner. Rachael thinks that now if there was an emergency, Kellie may even wait for her to evacuate 



Dana is the unicorn of an adulthood friend. They met through Kellie and Rachael was excited because she initially thought Dana’s combat boots, jeep and aesthetic style meant something else… 
Now, they enjoy catching up at the manor or crushing beer sticks at merricks. Dana was even able to work her magic to flip Megan from public school teaching to join her at Bancroft (they may have had an argument on whose side Dana belonged) 


MK is the third ABW/swimming alum. She and Rachael also returned for a short coaching stint. Now, Marikate rallies the group to revisit their old efforts and sign up for races and triathlons they aren’t prepared for. MK had Rachael and Bridget jumping off a ferry last summer, but for some reason was afraid of kayaking in the Mississippi River when the crew visited Rachael in Minneapolis. MK is our motivator, voice of reason and favorite fishmonger.



Rachael was lucky enough to spend most of her 20s galavanting around the city with her sister (Liz-MOH) and the Kivitz sisters. While they can still tear it up on a “cousins night out” or crush some beers on the beach in wildwood, Rachael mostly relies on Jackie, NP to advise her if that rash on her wrist looks weird and compare notes about masters swimming.

Colleen once announced to a party that “me and Rachael are like the same person” - we had a good laugh about it because Colleen brings the pep and Rachael brings more of the edges, but the balance between both has been perfect. Colleen is the other half of the Kivitz sisters, also an NP and equally as liable for Rachael’s request for off the book medical advice. She is the ultimate hype girl and big sister to us all. 


Andy and Rachael have always been close- andy trusted Rachael’s judgement to a fault- leading him as far as a broken arm on one occasion. Now they enjoy sharing notes over craft beer, good books, local coffee and travel Destinations. Andy is also one of the only trusted dog sitters for our Dak (call him a bit of a dog whisperer) or maybe he just grew up learning how to navigate difficult personalities

From the moment Rachael met Kerem
At Fergies (or rather when he bought Liz and Rachael pizza afterwards) she knew there was no better husband for her sister. 
Kerem has been the perfect addition to our family and even better as a friend. He never turns down a round of bourbon and always has a dad joke at the ready. He’s one of the most laid back guys you will meet- just don’t touch his hair!
