We first met during move-in weekend at Northern Arizona University thanks to Megan's roommate. She had met Boomer through the honors program and brought both of us to breakfast one morning. While this was technically the first time we had met, it wasn't until that evening at the Welcome Week Concert that we really got to talking. We became good friends and would hangout often throughout the semesters. Fast forward to two years later when Boomer brought Megan home to California for Thanksgiving to meet the family. We both had a blast and the next month Boomer brought her back to celebrate Christmas. It was during this trip that we officially started dating. This was in 2016, and since then we have been on so many adventures. From countless hockey games, horse races. and theatre shows. To holidays, vacations, and weddings celebrated together. We have moved from Flagstaff to Phoenix, and survived being long distance.

The morning that Boomer proposed we were going to meet Megan's best friend for breakfast and then go get a new library card. If you know Megan then you know the only thing that she might love more then Boomer, is reading. It was at the library that Boomer proposed, with the ring attached to a bookmark. While we had talked about getting married before Megan had no clue that the proposal was going to happen at the library while she was surrounded by books. Once we got back to her parents house everything was decorated and we celebrated with friends and family!
