Roosevelt Island is accessible by car from the Roosevelt Island Bridge, located on Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City, Queens.

*Rest assured you do NOT (and cannot) drive through Manhattan to get to Roosevelt Island, the only way is to go through Queens*

Valet parking is available with The Graduate Hotel for $70 per sedan / $80 per SUV (+tax) and you will not be able to take your car in/out. Public-parking is available in the Motorgate Parking Garage on Roosevelt Island for $26 (+tax) per 24 hrs.

You can only access the Tramway from Manhattan, so this is ONLY going to be suitable for those coming from or staying in Manhattan. It runs every 7-15 minutes from 59th Street and Second Avenue to Tramway Plaza on Roosevelt Island. It is a short (and beautiful!) 7 minute ride to the island. The Tram lets you off 0.1 miles from The Graduate Hotel, but it is 1.4 miles from our venue, The Sanctuary, so not easily walkable.

The last Tram to/from Roosevelt Island is 10:30PM and you must use a MetroCard to purchase a ticket.

Our favorite, but not the most practical. The NYC Ferry has a landing dock which is close (approx. 0.1 miles) to The Graduate hotel, but NOT our venue, The Sanctuary. The Ferry connects Astoria, Long Island City, East 34th Street and Wall Street on the Astoria Line.

If you are spending time some extra time in the city we highly recommend taking the ferry down to Wall Street or Brooklyn, this is one of the (many) places we had our engagement pictures taken!

It is very easy to get an Uber/Lyft on Roosevelt Island which is how we suggest guests getting to/from the venue.

If this presents an issue for anyone on the day of the event there will be a point person who can help people with Ubers/Lyfts.
