Plan to fly into St. Croix at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX). From the web - The general pattern is that from the time a flight opens for sale, fares will drop slowly but steadily until reaching a low point somewhere between 27 days and 114 days out. That three-month window, which is essentially between one and four months in advance, is what we call the "prime booking window". So start monitoring flight prices as soon as you can.

The ceremony & reception will be held at the Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa - http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/stxbr-renaissance-st-croix-carambola-beach-resort-and-spa/ We're working with a travel agency to help coordinate everything for our guests. You will have the following options:

1 - Reserve your room at the Carambola with the agency (Dreams and Destinations Travel). This package deal will include daily breakfast and travel to/from the airport. They can also assist in booking your flights if needed.

2 - Reserve your room at the Carambola directly through the hotel website or your travel website of choice. You will still need to RSVP with the travel agency. You will need to arrange your own transportation to/from the airport.

3 - You can choose to stay off the resort if you prefer, but will also need to RSVP with the travel agency. You will need to arrange your own transportation to/from the airport.

Even if you are not working with the agency, you will still need to RSVP with them.

It's your vacation! Stay as long as you like :) We plan to arrive either Wednesday or Thursday. We recommend getting to the island by Friday at the latest.

No passports are required to travel to STX however if you would like to check out any of the nearby British Virgin Islands you will be required to bring your passport.

Renting a car isn't necessary on STX but if you want to get out and about and explore a lot of the island on your own you might want to consider it.

Dress as casual or as fancy as you like, whatever is comfortable for you. It will be August in the Caribbean, so expect it to be quite warm! Weather pending the ceremony will be on the beach, so we don't recommend the ladies to wear heels. Sandals or wedges would be best... or just come barefoot!
