Sam and I officially got together in 2019, but we’d actually crossed paths a bunch of times growing up—daycare, middle school, high school, and even at the twin rinks where Sam played hockey and I was the hockey manager.

Then one very late night, on April 14th, 2019 I was at CCSU at a party with my sister when I saw on Snapchat that it was Sam's 21st birthday. So, I decided to send him a message saying happy birthday. I woke up the next morning to a message from Sam. Long story short, we have been inseparable ever since.

Now I bet you can guess where Sam took me on our first date....Yep! The driving range! Which was perfect, seeing as how I never held a club in my life. So naturally, he taught me how to hold the club and swing in that cute first- date kind of way. I have come a long way, that's for sure! Our first date lasted a total of around 12 hours. After the driving range, he took me out to eat. From there, he took me to his house, where I met his parents and then over to my house, where he met my parents. It was the most eventful first date I had ever been on and I think we both knew on that day that it would be our last first date.

Six years later, we've made so many unforgettable memories together. From our first concert (pictured above) to Sam graduating from college, and moving into our condo, starting new jobs and all of the ups and downs of life. We are so thankful to have each other through it all, and we are beyond excited to share such a special day with all of you.
