"Date a coworker? No way!" 

...said both Kevin and Megan before meeting.

'Twas the winter of 2019 when Meg and Kev first laid eyes on each other.   After returning from a meeting, Megan was making her customary pit stop at the water cooler when she saw one TALL glass of water.   Kevin, none the wiser, finished refilling his comically large water bottle and returned to his desk.   When he looked up there was a gorgeous, exceptionally fit woman B-lining straight down the hall towards his desk at the back of the office.   Narrowly snapping out of it in time, Kevin managed to pick up his jaw just as Megan stopped... and proceeded to unpack at her desk directly next to his!   That afternoon Kevin officially met his team members, which included Megan.   In the ensuing weeks of his onboard training, Kevin was nothing short of adept and resourceful in the excuses he made to talk to her - from struggling with the new software (picture Cady Heron asking Aaron Samuels for math help in the perfect film that is Mean Girls *Kevin is Lindsay Lohan here*) to their shared interests in wine, sports and nature.   Meanwhile, Megan was beyond excited to recruit Kevin for some grass volleyball tourneys!   In the week prior to Christmas, there was an epic Holiday Sock contest.   Megan was riding the momentum of a big win she'd had earlier that day, having only missed by three in the “Guess the # of M&Ms” contest. Needless to say, she came to play.   The competition was formidable, but Megan donned her snowman socks and went toe to toe with the best the office had to offer   ...that is...   Until Kevin unsheathed his holiday Biggie Smalls socks!!   The next evening, there was a Young Professionals Network meeting that Megan had invited her teammates to.   Kevin came through in the clutch, and somehow convinced Megan that they should not only carpool to the event together, but also check out the lightshow at Christmas tree lane afterwards.   Kevin did not want to come across as unprofessional, so following the lightshow he decided the best move was to DM Megan on LinkedIn like a true gentleman - and thus their first date was had!

>>Fast forward to a few months later, when shelter in place happened and we were working remote indefinitely, we took every team meeting via zoom in separate rooms of the same house.   Our new life really started in May of 2021 when we journeyed together on a 3+ month road trip around the Mt. West. We hiked, stared at cool rocks, were chased by lightning, saw many of our favorite people, and enjoyed every minute of it.   In 2023, we returned to Bryce Canyon for a backpacking trip with friends, and after completing the trek, Kev proposed under the fireworks!   The year is now 2025 - Upon completing nursing school, Megan returned to find that they are now a family of 3 (Kevin rescued Reese Whiskerspoon, to keep him company whilst Megan was gone.)   Reese lives a good life and shows her favor by presenting what we like to call “woodland gifts” at the doorstep. Right now, she's the highlight of our day.
