There are tons of vintage and second hand stores along Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park between North Ave. and Division. Some of our favs are Una Mae's, Vintage Underground, Round Two, Kokorokoko, and of course... Crossroads!

Whats a better way to spend the afternoon then eating tacos? 18th street is home to some of the city's best Mexican food. Some of our favs are Taqueria Casa Del Pueblo, Carnitas Urapan, Rubi's Tacos, and Taqueria Los Comales. If you need something sweet after head to Panaderia Neuvo Leon for a great Mexican bakery experience! If you are in need of even more culture, head two blocks south to the National Museum of Mexican Art which is free to the public and has a rotating selection of exhibits.

The Lincoln Park Zoo and surrounding attractions are free all year round! Next door there is also a flower conservatory and lily pond, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, which is where we got engaged! After you're done head a few blocks west to the Hotel Lincoln rooftop bar for panoramic views of downtown and the lake.

The MCA is one of the city's best museums. And it's usually much less crowded than the bigger ones on museum campus. See what exhibit is currently on display, check out the sculpture garden, and grab a bite to eat at the restaurant downstairs, Marisol. The museum gift shop is also super cute!

Head downtown for some classic Chicago views. The Bean and Crown Fountain are located in Millenium Park, in between the lake and Michigan Ave. Nearby is the Chicago Cultural Center, which is free to enter and has an amazing Tiffany dome inside. A few blocks away is the Rookery Building, whose lobby was built by Frank Lloyd Wright. Lastly, check out some of the sculptures downtown like Chagall's Four Seasons, Calder's Flamingo, and "Untitled," by Picasso.
