Things to Do

Our favorite resturants

-Malibu Farm (crab cakes & build your own fish tacos)-La Puerta (carne asada quesadilla & any margarita)-Fish Shop-Coasterra (debs coconut margarita & gorgeous city views)

Beachin'

There are so many different beaches in San Diego, here's a quick rundown of some of the closer beaches.

-La Jolla for the seals, cove, and restaurant views

-Coronado for your upscale hotel beach and cute town in walking distance

-Ocean Beach for a laid-back vibe

-Mission Beach for all the beach space, volleyball courts, houses on the boardwalk to look at

-Belmont Park & Pacific Beach for the most restaurants and bars in walking distance

Downtown

Walk the famous Gaslamp district downtown and go grab a bite to eat in Little Italy. Head over to shop all the kitschy shops in Seaport Village and check out the Waterfront Park. You can take a tour of the USS Midway near the famous Kissing Statue. It's also easy to hop on a ferry across the way to Coronado which is a great photo op if the weather is working.

Hike

There's a few well-known hikes in the city but two of our favorites are Torrey Pines and Cowles Mountain. Both are only a couple miles - Torrey Pines has all the beach views and the top of Cowles has a view of all of San Diego as the highest point in the city.

Liberty Station

Liberty Station is built on the grounds of a former naval training center. Check out San Diego staple Stone Brewing, cute local boutiques, as well as Liberty Public Market, filled with gourmet eateries and shops.

Board walk bike ride

Rent bikes in Pacific Beach and take a stroll down the boardwalk. Grab lunch in Pacific Beach on Garnet Ave.
