When Megan and Justin met at Anchor Baptist Church in 2023, neither realized the amazing story God was going to write for them. While Justin noticed and liked Megan right away, it took Megan longer to realize she felt the same way. They were acquaintances through church and would have the occasional conversation, but an intentional friendship didn’t start until 2024. In June as they began to get to know each other better and discover all their similarities, the attraction grew. Justin asked Megan out on their first date in July, and they spent almost every free day after that together. Since knowing Megan, Justin had prayed about the possibility of a relationship with her. God sovereignly answered that prayer after a year and a half of immense growth and maturity for both Justin and Megan. They firmly attribute that growth before dating to why they have such a strong relationship now. God knew they wouldn’t have been ready for each other before His perfect timing. They dated for about five months before Justin proposed on December 21st while celebrating early Christmas with his family. Since engagement, Justin and Megan continue to see God’s goodness in how they communicate and how God is growing them together.
