Even the best parents need a break sometimes! Take yours at our reception, which has been planned with an adults-only crowd in mind.
Do I have to spend the night?
No, please let us know if you will not be spending the night. We have rented the entire lodge for accommodations. Therefore we will ensure the room is used if you are not staying. We do ask if you drink to not drive!
Will I need to take PTO?
Yes, we are getting married on a Tuesday at 3:30 pm. You may need to make accommodations for work.
Can I bring a guest?
Invitations are addressed to everyone invited and will include “and guest” if we have planned for a plus one.
We have strategically selected the 28 people that have had the biggest influence on our lives. We look forward to sharing our day with you.
What should I bring?
When you're getting ready for the night, make sure to gather all the personal items you think you'll need for the overnight stay. As the evening progresses and the party becomes more relaxed, feel free to change into something comfortable. It's always a good idea to bring a jacket or blanket to stay warm, especially since there will be a bonfire. The lodge might have limited seating in that area, so it would be great if you could bring a portable chair.
When should I get ready?
Lodge check-in is after the ceremony. Make sure to arrive at Jump off Rock prepared for the day with all your stuff!
What do we need as a gift?
Instead of a traditional wedding gift, we'd be over the moon if you could contribute to our home construction projects. We actually bought a house in October 2023, and we're so excited about it! Fun fact: we got engaged on the same day we bought the house, making it even more special. Right now, we're focusing on remodeling our basement and kitchen, as well as updating and adding new electrical features. Any support, whether it's a gift card or a weekend of physical help, would be incredibly appreciated.
