Where exactly is the venue?

Our venue is a cute little brick building placed on Main Street of Ardmore, AL (not to be confused with Ardmore, TN which is right around the corner.) Built in 1929, and renovated in 2015, it is a small two story building in between a barber shop and salon. In the front, an "Ardmore Station" sign is posted. It is a very small town about 15 minutes from the city of Madison, AL, but a very homey spot for a cozy wedding. And don't worry if you don't see it at first, we will make sure to have signage out front so you won't be able to miss it.

What exactly is cocktail attire?

The answer is not a fact or opinion. It is more based on the season, time of day, and preference of the event. I would say somewhere between church/Sunday best and formal, but not quite semi formal. I will leave a link to some places that have some really good cocktail attire if you need to find some, and some pictures for reference if you still are unsure. Just do not wear all white. You will be subjected to the bridal party's code white, which means you will be covered in paint, food, or colored drinks. :) (I'm kidding...maybe)

Where do I need to park?

There will be parking if you are arriving to the wedding behind the building, on the main street, and across the street at the high school. We will have signage to let you know where to go and send out messages as it gets closer to the date.

Can I bring a plus one?

Yes! Just let us know in advance so we can get a headcount of all of our attending guests.

When should we RSVP by?

No later than October 30th would be amazing if possible. If you are still unsure after October 30, we will count you as coming, and if you are not able to come, then let us know. We appreciate it in advance.

Can we take photos?

During the ceremony, we ask all phones, tablets, cameras, and anything else to be put away because we will be having an unplugged ceremony. This is because our wonderful camera crew will be taking beautiful photos for us and as soon as we get them we will send them out. We just don't want any flashback from the phones or the phones to be a distraction from the ceremony. As for the reception, take as many photos as you want. We will have a QR code where you can send all the photos you took sent and have an album of all the fun memories we may have missed you captured for us. Our photographer will be there for the reception taking professionals, but since it will be laid back, snap away!

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately no. :( If you have a certified service animal, they are allowed. Make sure they are dressed for the occasion. However, all other pets must stay home, again unfortunately. But tell them we send our best regards and wish they could join us.

Where do we need to stay if we are traveling out of town?

There are a few hotels around the area, I am planning a room block in a hotel not far from the venue for the guests who will not be staying with family. If you have any financial burdens causing you to be able to not afford the wedding travel costs or stay, let us know and we will try to work something out. On the travel section of our website, I will list as many places to stay around so you if you are staying overnight you have plenty of options.
