We recommend flying into Newark Airport (EWR).
Manasquan and Point Pleasant are about an hour drive from Newark (50mil). Link up with some mutual friends and rent a car. There is so much to see and do during your time at the Jersey Shore that having a car may come in handy. But also isn't necessary!
Getting a ride share from EWR to Manasquan/Point Pleasant is pretty easy, as well as getting around town & to all weekend events.
Flying into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is also an option, however, it's a little bit of a longer drive (80mil).
All 40 rooms at the Crystal Point Inn (just steps away from the ceremony and reception location) are reserved for our wedding guests on Saturday, Aug 17th. You may book a room for Saturday night at any time, just let them know you are part of the O'Connell Wedding. Unfortunately reservations cannot be made online, only by calling the Inn (see below for details).
Thursday and Friday weddings get priority for their guests on Aug 15th and 16th, however, any rooms not already reserved will open to the public 1 month before (ie. 7/15, 7/16). So if you are interested in staying at the inn on Thursday and/or Friday, be sure to check 1 month prior and inquire quickly.

There are lots of other hotel, motel, and inn options in the area as well! We recommend staying in Manasquan, Sea Girt, Brielle, Brick, or Point Pleasant.
Another popular option is to find a home on AirBnB, Vrbo, Craigslist, Hotels.com, etc. However, they often require a longer night minimum. If you are planning on staying for more than one or two nights, this may be the best option. The Jersey Shore is a popular summer destination so rentals are booked quickly and far in advance so we recommend booking sooner rather than later (yes, even in February!).
We recommend looking for rentals in Manasquan, Sea Girt, Brielle, Brick, or Point Pleasant as those towns are closest to the weekend events.
