Trevor & I actually met when I was 14, he was 16. We met on a back, gravel road in Parke County. I was doing exactly what I wasn’t supposed to be, and told boys to come meet my best friend & I while we rode our four wheelers on these back roads. Trevor pulls up with a friend in his old, red chevy truck and ask me to race. Me, being the “I can beat all boys” girl that I was, I accepted. Of course, he blew me away throwing rocks and dust all over me. I decided I didn’t like him very much after that. We hung out quite a few times within friend groups over the next few years, we had the same friends. About a year & a half later, Trevor messages me confessing his feelings for me. I told him no way, it wasn’t happening. Within the next 6 years, he would randomly message me & check up on me. Eventually asking to give him a chance, which I always declined.. until I didn’t. After I finally accepted, things went a little quickly. They aren’t lying when they say, “when you know, you know”. Trevor & I started seeing each other at the end of 2021, began dating in the beginning of 2022, and welcomed our beautiful baby girl towards the end of 2022. Now here we are, ready to tie the knot and celebrate with our friends and family that have always supported us along the way!
