Megan and Travis first met during their freshman year of college through Megan's high school friend and Travis's newfound college bestie, Jack. Unbeknownst to them, Megan and Travis would meet again and fall in love three years later at the annual Iowa City Downtown Block Party, again through Jack (thanks Jack :)).

Megan and Travis began dating August 3rd, 2019 and never looked back. They survived a pandemic together all while Megan finished up her nursing degree and Travis finished his civil engineering degree. They both graduated from the University of Iowa in December of 2020, and after graduation, they bought their first home in North Liberty, Iowa and moved in with their late cat, Harper.

A year later, Travis wrangled all of their close friends to surprise Megan with the most special proposal on the day that they met three years earlier. Megan of course said yes! and they got right to wedding planning so that they could get married on their 5 year (dating) anniversary. <3
