It all began on a Friday night. Megan had planned a fun dinner with friends followed by some casual drinks—but with finals week in full swing, she hadn’t planned on staying out late. As she climbed into her Uber, ready to call it a night, Megan's friend Natalia asked her to go out with her & her roommates. And thank goodness she did! Megan changed her destination and headed to Austin’s on the Ave—a hotspot for Baylor students in fall 2023.

That one small decision changed everything, because that night… she met Miles.

The following week, Megan went home to San Antonio for Christmas break, but distance didn’t stop their connection from growing. They talked every single day. Megan’s mom couldn’t help but notice her daughter giggling at her phone and wondering what (or who!) was making her smile like that. Little did she know, it was Miles.

As soon as Megan was back in Waco, Miles asked her out to dinner. That evening, over good food and easy conversation, they both realized something special was starting. A few weeks later, they made it official, and over the months that followed, it became clear. This was it.

Thanks to one spontaneous night and Natalia’s perfectly timed text, Megan and Miles found each other.

Since then, they’ve been inseparable and knew it was meant to be. Here's to being the Future Langermans!
