Megan and Ian

We met at the end of our sophomore year at the University of Michigan. After a summer of Snapchatting and Facebook messaging, we reunited on campus in the fall of our junior year and the rest is history. Although we currently live in Philadelphia, we've come to love Connecticut and can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you here next summer!

Megan's Bridesmaids

Katherine is Megan’s older sister and oldest friend. Kath is about 3 years older than Megan and has always had Megan’s best interest at heart. She can count on her for anything. Naturally, Megan asked Katherine to be her Maid of Honor and stand by her side on this special day. It doesn't hurt that Katherine is a great planner and will plan an amazing bachelorette and bridal party :)

Catrice, or “Bitty," (as some of you may refer to her) is one of Megan’s best friends from high school. Even though they haven’t lived in the same place in 8 years, it doesn’t stop them from continuing to support and love each other! The best part has been being able to visit new cities where they both have lived over the years. Catrice has a lot of experience with weddings so Megan is so grateful for her expertise!

Ari is Megan’s future sister-in-law and she couldn’t be more excited to have Ari in her life and bridal party! Ari is currently a junior at American University in D.C. Megan has loved watching Ari go from high school to college and see all of the amazing things she is doing at her school and for the world. Megan, Ari, and Ian’s mom, Mary, all speak Spanish together whenever they get a chance - they can’t wait to eventually travel to a Spanish-speaking country together.

Neha is one of Megan’s closest friends from the University of Michigan. Although they met a couple times in the beginning of college, they didn’t become really close until the summer before junior year, which, coincidentally, is when Megan and Ian also became really close! Neha has been there from the beginning. Megan and Ian have loved hanging out with Neha and Henry (groomsman) and having many double dates and trips together over the years!

Bree is also Megan’s close friend from U of M. Bree has been there since the beginning of Megan and Ian’s journey. She read all the texts and heard of all the stories since day one. Although they’ve been in different states since graduation, Megan and Bree have stayed as close as they were senior year - making time to visit and FaceTime about their lives, relationships, and classrooms (Bree is also a teacher!).
