We have a hotel block set up at Drury Inn in Marion. The link for that is under the hotel section of the website. Marion, IL is the large city just 10-20 minutes from Herrin. It holds multiple hotels and food establishments that the small city of Herrin cannot.

Yes the venue will host both the reception and the ceremony.

The ceremony will be held in a small area inside the woods outside. The reception is held inside a building with an outdoor patio area as well as a large lake onsite. The venue sprays for bugs so no worry there but be prepared for that May heat!

The more the merrier! We would love to have your littles join us. We just ask that if the kids get a little rowdy you remove them from the ceremony so that everyone else may still enjoy. We plan on having activities for the children during the reception as well.

The venue has a strict no smoking or vaping rule in the main areas. If you wish to vape or smoke during the day or night then we ask that you please go to the parking lot. If you are found outside the parking lot vaping or smoking we will have to ask you to leave. Thank you so much for your consideration!

A Bar Cart will be set up outside the patio for everyone to enjoy. Please be responsible when drinking!

A cocktail hour will be provided while pictures are being taken. Fruit and veggie towers will be set up as well as the bar will be open. Games and activities will be spread throughout the area for guest to enjoy while they wait.

While the couple would love to have everyone the whole time it is understandable that people may only make it to parts of the day. Don't feel bad if you have to leave after the ceremony, we still love you! I purposefully planned the ceremony earlier in the afternoon for those who need to travel same day to make it home to pets or children. We just ask you say hi before leaving.
