The venue is approximately 30 minutes from Charlotte, heading east towards Albemarle. The ceremony will take place behind the event house at the lakeside gazebo. The cocktail hour will also be outdoors, just a short walk from the ceremony site. The reception will be in a heated and air-conditioned building. Parking is available on-site. A golf cart can be utilized for transportation around the venue to assist those who may need additional help.

Yes! We are extremely grateful for everyone who will be traveling for our big day; therefore, we encourage all who would like to come to be in attendance, regardless of age.

While we want all guests to be comfortable, we ask that everyone adhere to a semi-formal or dressy casual attire. We ask that women wear a skirt or dress, jumpsuit, or slacks and a dressy top. We encourage men to wear dress pants, chinos, or khakis with a polo, button down, or dress shirt. We please ask that you don’t wear jeans and we do recommend comfortable shoes as guests may have to walk through grass at some point.

We have rooms blocked at two hotels in Concord and you can find the links under the travel tab of the website. Most other hotels are within 30 minutes from the venue and can be found in major areas such as Matthews, Uptown, University, Huntersville, or Concord. You are welcome to Uber/Lyft to the venue and parking is available on site if you choose to drive.
