Megan and Ben first met in late December of 2021 through mutual friends. Megan, from Lima, Ohio, had never even heard of the small village of Arlington until Ben came into her life. Their earliest days together were spent in Ben’s garage—playing pool, listening to music, and laughing at each other’s jokes. On January 10, 2022, Ben made things official by asking Megan to be his girlfriend. Their connection was instant and strong, and they quickly became best friends. They bonded over their shared love for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Roadhouse dinners, and golf cart rides around town.

Megan fell in love with Ben’s passion for volunteering as a firefighter and his love for landscaping, while Ben admired Megan’s dedication to her education and her enthusiasm for teaching young children. On October 31, 2024, Ben proposed at a friend’s pond surrounded by beautiful scenery. Megan instantly said yes to forever. This past year brought even more milestones as Ben moved into his home in June, and Megan joined him in August. Now, they are so excited to celebrate their love story with their beloved family and friends.
