Old Perithia is a village and heritage site up in the mountains. There is a beautiful walk around the village and Alkinoos Taverna for lunch.

Definitely worth having a day in Corfu Town to explore. There also lots of bars and restaurants if you would like to visit on an evening.

Corfu Paleokastritsa Monastery

On a green hill above the beach of Paleokastritsa, on the northwestern side of Corfu, there is a large Monastery complex dedicated to Panagia (Virgin Mary) of Paleokastritsa. Built on top of a remote hill, it gives a gorgeous view of the island and the sea.
