We officially met on October 3, 2020. The day I knew my life was about to change for the better.

Before Jake and I officially met, we had found each other on social media. Both of us had bad experiences with dating so early on, he and I realized we were ready to meet the one person that God had created for each of us. It wasn't until after our first couple of dates, that we realized the other was sent by God Himself.

We had both wanted to establish a friendship before becoming serious. So we'd spend countless minutes in the day talking about everything under the sun. We've come to enjoy talking so much that texting turned to phone calls in the evening. Then the phone calls turned to short videos during the day that let the other person know we were thinking about them.

The more we spent time with one another, the more we knew it was going to be harder to share the distance of an hour and thirty minutes. We chose to stick it out and made it work because we finally found each other and we just couldn't let each other go.

Being with one another has created many moments between the two of us. I met people who shared the same beliefs I do, I got to see the ocean for the first time in my life, I got to go ax-throwing, I found a church that makes me excited to go back, I finally got a glimpse of skydiving (something I've thought about doing before), we've traveled quite a bit, and I have grown closer to God.

Being with Jake has made me a more positive person. My faith in God is stronger than ever. I have already lived beautiful moments with Jake and to know that this is the beginning of the rest of our lives together, makes me yearn for more.

Jake proposed on October 9, 2021. I cried knowing he has picked me to be his wife. That is an honor to me. To feel how huge that honor is, I know that God has sent me my other half. I know now that he is my person. He is my godsend. I've always wanted to find my happily ever after and now it is coming in 96 days, I'm forever thankful that God gave Jake to me and I've never been happier than I am now.
