Our story begins at a lovely little coffee shop called Biggby Coffee. It was an early spring morning, and I (Megan) was starting my day as Biggby’s best barista. The morning, however, did not start out strong—my coworker didn't show up, leaving me completely alone in the store with a drive-thru line wrapped around the building. No one came inside… except for one very smart individual: Dave.

He walked in and instantly felt the stress and tension from behind the counter. He kindly asked if I was working by myself. I explained the situation, and chose to ignore the endless line of cars outside. Helping this kind, calm, and handsome stranger felt way more important in the moment. He ordered—oddly enough—the exact same drink I always get, an iced coffee with caramel. A simple, sweet interaction… but one that stuck, because he came back the next day. And the next day. And the next. Each visit brought us another small but meaningful moment together. Every day, just waiting for the next interaction to come and make the day better. That weekend came around and a night out with friends was needed. I walked up to the bar to grab a drink, when I hear someone yell behind me ...

“Biggby girl!” I turned only to see my caramel-iced-coffee guy.

Fast forward to SIX (almost seven) YEARS later, and countless amazing memories and special moments shared in between. Dave and I feel so blessed to have met one another. It wasn’t by fate or luck, it was all part of God’s plan. We are so grateful for every step that led us here, and we are so excited to share this special moment with only our dearest family and friends!!
