Important Day of Details

The bride and groom request that all guests are seated 10 minutes before the ceremony. Please arrive no later than 4:15 pm day of to ensure that all guests are seated ahead of entrances by the wedding party.
Dress Code
If at all possible the bride and groom request that guests attempt to dress in their wedding color palette for timeless and cohesive photos. Semi-formal or formal attire is requested. Note that much of the festivities will be taking place outside, please dress seasonally appropriate and check the weather leading up to the nuptials as September weather can be quite fickle!
Please no jeans or white outfits. Thank you!
Where can I park?
There will be a clearly designated parking area for the day of the wedding. Please note that parking will be in a grassy and somewhat hilly field. If there are mobility challenged members of your party please feel free to drop them off as close to the action as possible and someone will be available to assist.
Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?
All wedding events will be taking place at Davidson Family Farm in Cambridge, NY. The ceremony is slated to take place in front of one of the ponds and reception to be held in the barn. In the event of inclement weather the bride and groom will determine with their day of coordinator if their secondary ceremony location will be needed (the barn).
Unplugged wedding?
YES! Please do not take photos or videos during the ceremony. The bride and groom splurged on their photography and videography budget. To get the absolute most out of those services we kindly ask that everyone silence their cellphones and leave them alone until the reception.
All guests are encouraged to take as many photos and videos as possible during the reception!
Will food be served and/or I have dietary restrictions how do I let your caterer know?
The wedding event will have many foods from cocktail hour onward you will be inundated with food, both passed and stationed. We also will have an open bar and a dessert explosion. Dinner will be a buffet including 1 meat, 1 chicken and 1 seafood.
If you have dietary issues including allergies or aversions please specify while RSVP'ing. We will ensure our catering team takes them under advisement.
Accessability
Our venue will be ADA accessible for the duration of the wedding. Please note that the reception barn is across the street from the main cocktail hour and house/restrooms. Plan accordingly for footwear.
Leading up to the Wedding
How to RSVP?
Please RSVP via our website or return the RSVP card ahead of 01 September so that final totals may be provided to the catering team.
Where to stay?
While we would love for all our guests to stay with us onsite for the wedding weekend, we have to acknowledge that that would end up being a bit cramped. We have linked several wonderful hotels. bed and breakfasts and motels in the area! Please reach out to Megan, Debbie or Dawn if there are any addition questions or suggestions needed for locations to stay.
Which airport is closest?
We would suggest anyone flying into the area to use Albany International Airport. Hartford , Boston and NYC are also within a few hours of driving distance if additional travel days to explore the North East are planned.
