The best thing we ever found on the Internet!

It all began in the summer of 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic. Like so many people during that time, Conner and Megan turned to online dating, hoping to connect with someone special despite the world feeling so different. Little did they know, the pandemic would lead them to each other.On August 16, 2020 (Conner's 25th birthday), they matched on Bumble—what a lucky coincidence! It was the beginning of something they could have never imagined would turn into such a beautiful love story. Just a few weeks later, Conner and Megan decided to meet in person for their first date at Manor Hill Brewery in Ellicott City. The connection was instant, and they immediately felt comfortable with each other, sharing laughs and great conversation over beers and tacos.Their third date was a memorable one—Conner met some of Megan’s family when they went to eat crabs at Megan’s Aunt and Uncle's house. The warmth of her family and the excitement of sharing that experience made it clear they were both in the right place. From that day forward, the relationship blossomed, and they started seeing each other nearly every weekend, and even during the week whenever they could make it work. This wasn't easy as they lived an hour and a half from each other.From that point on, life together became a shared adventure—filled with road trips, holidays, time with family and friends, and the everyday moments that quietly build a life. Through it all, Conner and Megan grew not only in love but in partnership, learning how to support one another, laugh often, and navigate life side by side. What began as a simple swipe during an uncertain time has grown into something steady, joyful, and deeply meaningful. Today, they are so grateful for the journey that brought them here—and even more excited for the many chapters still to come.

We invite you to dress up, feel comfortable, and celebrate with us! Semi-formal means polished but not overly formal. Think cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or skirts and blouses for women. For men, slacks or chinos with a button-down shirt are perfect; a jacket and tie are welcome but not required. Color is encouraged, and personal style is welcome. Just leave the jeans at home.The reception will take place in a grassy backyard, so we recommend choosing shoes that are comfortable on grass—narrow heels may not be the best option.
