Joel slid into my life on one of the first weekends of our college experience as we manned a slip n' slide for a campus event. That was almost 11 years ago. Since then, we've spent a lot of time together, from cross-country adventures to innumerable conversations misunderstanding each other's points. Joel's authentic care for and presence with the person in front of him is rare. He is currently living out his love for people by way of serving Habitat for Humanity as a Corporate &amp; Faith Relations Coordinator. A constant source of joy and deep care to those who have the privilege of knowing him, he is one of the best human beings I have ever met - and I am honored to have him at my side for this auspicious occasion!

My wedding wouldn't be complete without my #1 from day 1. She has been by my side through just about everything and my wedding should not be any different! Courtney is one of the wisest women I know and she speaks truth to those around her. She brings life to every room she enters and is often the life of the party. Courtney just graduated this May from AU and will soon be running off to Colorado to speak to high school students about their faith. She was MADE to be a public speaker and is going to do some great things for hundreds of students!

Erinn has played several roles in my life. She has been my boss, my mentor, my older sister, and friend. She is the reason I even met Stephen in the first place! She has walked with me through the darkest valleys and the highest peaks and has loved me through it all. Erinn works with her fabulous hubby as a wedding photographer, is a certified Strengths coach, and runs a phenomenal blog called BridgingHerStory. Knowing Erinn and the dreamer she is, that certainly won't be all for long! She constantly reminds me to dream big and grow myself more. I would be so much less of myself without her around!

I've known Brent for over 5 years now. Brent is one of the most ambitious people I know - willing to do what it takes to accomplish his ever-changing goals. Currently, he is working on his PhD in Theological Studies, while working part-time for his father, while also running a highly reputable photography/videography business with his wife, Erinn. Oh, and he is also remodeling his entire house. Brent has a tremendous ability (shared with his wife) to be consistently relational. He is always bringing people into his projects and schemes, always looking to share life together with others; even in the midst of a half-renovated home, you still feel known, thought of, and at the end of the day, surprisingly accomplished because of all you got done along the way.

Ethan and I basically grew up together. At times I felt like I spent more time at his house than my own. Even though I moved away to college and only looked back once, we've always stayed in touch and made sure to connect when we could. Ethan currently works as a Pipe Forman, but is by far one of the hardest workers and best concrete workers I've ever met. He is a highly-skilled  and certified craftsman and has certainly earned those titles. If I have any kind of good work ethic, it's mainly from working with and watching him. And even though it has been an honor to stand by him as he got married and had a few kids, I think its about time he started to return the favor.

I met Margo freshman year at AU and from the very beginning, we clicked. Now, four years later, I can't imagine what life is like without her. She is an incredible artist, a lover of concerts and playing music 24/7, an avid coffee drinker, and an adventurer at heart. She constantly reminds me to try new things and find joy in the darkest of places. Margo is living her crazy life in California teaching and tutoring inner city elementary school students. Even 2,338 miles can't change our friendship!

Given that both of our given names are Stephen, we made a mutual decision that I would be referred to as "Stephen" and he would be "Steve." This made matters simpler as we began our senior year at Huntington University together as roommates. For his day job, Steve is a General Attorney for U.S. Customs and Border Protection; in addition, he is widely and regularly used as a resource for trivia of all kinds. He and his wife Ashlee first lovingly fostered my dog Indiana for a few months before I was able to add him to my Pokedex. I am lucky enough to continue to have Steve be an important part of my life.

Audrey and I have been by each other's sides through so many life phases. She still somehow hung out with middle school Megan (bless her heart for braving that storm). We have walked through church youth group, middle school, high school, college, and soon to be wife-hood together. Audrey has always been a kindred spirit. She is someone that you feel safe around, who listens well, is patient, and always speaks truth. She has challenged my faith and showed me that vulnerability is both healing and beautiful. Audrey works at Little Star Center with children affected by autism. Her heart for these kids runs so deep and is infectious!

Allison has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From tiny tots playing together on play dates to college graduates and beyond, Allison has always been an encourager. She has a kind word for everyone and is the one you want to share your good news with because you know she will ALWAYS be just as excited as you are. She exudes light and reminds me to find something to laugh about in every situation. Allison works as a kindergarten teacher in Fishers and is adored by her kiddos. This truly is her calling, to help shape the lives and minds of the next generation.

Justin has an uncanny ability to bring a lot of authenticity with him - also, just about any game you can think of and 15 that you've never heard of. His genuine care for others and inquisitive manner make him a thought-provoking and thoroughly entertaining conversationalist. Justin's the epitome of an ENTJ when he takes command of our D&amp;D sessions as Dungeon Master; he is clearly in his element. I am proud of who Justin is and I am privileged to have him be a consistent friend and a part of this special day.

Elli and I had the pleasure of meeting 4 years ago when I was her camp counselor. Little did I know that this eighth grade girl I met at Camp Challenge would find a place into my heart for the long haul. It truly has been an honor to watch and take part in the growth she's had over the years. Elli is a calming presence in the midst of the chaos of life. She is an excellent listener and truly is wise beyond her years. She steps up to every challenge thrown at her and courageously charges ahead. She reminds me to be brave and to take a breath. Elli will be heading into her freshman year at AU in the fall to study social work. I am so excited for her to be a Raven!

Three and a half years young, Indiana came into my life almost 3 years ago now.  To those that know him, he is a gift and delight. His love language is touch and isn't shy about it. Whether you want to snuggle up and watch Netflix or get outside and do some running, he'll match your energy level to a "T;" as long as he is with you, he doesn't seem to mind the activity. Indiana likes long walks, crispy bacon, and quality time; he does not prefer being alone, thunderstorms, or unfriendly cats. I could not imagine a better dog and am thrilled he agreed to be a part of our day!
