Meg and Jeff were set up by the matchmaker extraordinaire himself, Jeff Gertley Sr. In 2019, Meg worked with Jeff Sr. and he recommended she follow Jeff Jr. on social media. Jeff Jr. quickly responded with a follow back and of course Jeff Sr. pushed Jeff Jr. to ask her out. Unfortunately, this big pause in all our lives called the pandemic struck shortly after and the two were forced into liking photos for 1+ years. Fast forward to a sunny day in April 2021, where Meg golfing finally prompted Jeff to slide into those DMs. 

Less than a week later, they had their first date at Mex. They have been inseparable ever since. They were brought together by their love of food, golf, and family. They now live in Madison Heights, MI with their dog Pippi (aka. Pippi the pup, Pippi the Pupperoni, Pippsie the Puppses, Miss Pippses...). They love to travel, but are still big fans of couch time. Meg and Jeff cannot wait to become husband and wife in October and celebrate with everyone!
