Our story is one that truly shows all the goodness of God. If you know anything about Covington County, you know that everybody knows everybody! This is what we thought too until March 2022 when we both tagged along with some friends on a weekend beach trip. We both saw each other for the first time thinking “who’s that? and they can’t be from around here!” Dylan thought I lived in Florida because that’s where I was working at the time. Then come to find out we lived and grew up only about 20 minutes from each other! We didn’t saw much to each other while we were at the beach, then I got a DM from Dylan the following week. Of course I played hard to get and turned him down not once, not twice, but three times…in a week. Dylan didn’t give up and kept pursuing me with the kindest heart! After turning him down the following Friday, each of our friends invited us to hang out. Come to find out we were all hanging out at the same place! Well we talked all night long and I finally let him take me on a date that weekend. We talked all night long and did not want the night to end and that was the beginning of it all! We knew from that night that this relationship was such a Godsend!! The Lord has done so much in our lives this past year and we can’t wait to see what He has in store as we enter into this marriage!
