Max and Megan's friendship turned into a love story when Max asked Megan to attend a retirement party with him and his closest family friends. Soon after that "first date", Max's friends were asking who his new girlfriend was. A few dates later, Megan invited Max on a family vacation, and of course, the rest is history.

On June 16, 2023 the couple took a trip to Los Angeles to visit their close friends and attend a golf tournament. While they were taking photos at the Getty Villa, Max got down on one knee and completely surprised Megan with the big question. They traveled home to tell their friends and family about the news.
