Come have a weekend-long slumber party with us, pals!:
We've set aside a room block at the Staybridge Suites in Fremont. Meg & Jon will be staying at this hotel all weekend, and it's walking distance to a ton of cool bars and restaurants.
***ROOM BLOCK NOW CLOSED***
However, if you still need a room we can get you in! Email us at megalojon2024@gmail.com and we'll send you new booking instructions.
We will also be running a shuttle from this hotel to our ceremony, reception, and back.
Rooms in the block are discounted to $219 per night. If you do not see rooms listed at this discounted rate, please get in touch with us!
All rooms come with a full kitchen. For those interested in sharing rooms to cut costs, every room has a two-person bed and a two-person pull-out couch. In the Queen Suites are studios, while the 1 Bedroom Suites have a king bedroom and separate living space for added privacy.
If you're a couple interested in sharing a room to cut costs, let us know and we'll be happy to pair you up!
FROM HOTEL - 2:15 PM - RSVP HERE
A bus will be available from the Staybridge Suites in Fremont to the wedding ceremony at our house, to the reception at Local 104, and back to the Staybridge Suites in the evening.
The shuttle will leave the hotel at 2:15 pm sharp.
If you would like to use this shuttle, please RSVP in your invitation by July 1. The shuttle is not big enough to accommodate all of our guests, so we ask that those who did not RSVP investigate alternate modes of transport.
Out-of-towners should fly in and out of SeaTac airport. For those who do not have Pre-Check, we recommend using SEA Spot Saver upon departure as TSA wait times can be nasty at SeaTac.
Seattle is a good-but-not-great public transit town. The most developed transit option is the bus system. For those looking to avoid car rental costs, here are some recommendations for getting around!
Seattle Yellow Cab: Out-of-towners are often blindsided by how expensive Uber and Lyft are in Seattle. Yellow cabs are often significantly cheaper (and union!), and can be ordered on-demand just like ride shares using the Seattle Yellow Cab app.
Bus and Lightrail: Bus and lightrail train work very nicely and we love them. Routes are accurate and reliable when mapped with Google Maps. To ride both bus and lightrail, the Transit Go app allows you to buy single ride or day pass tickets on your phone, or purchase a refillable ORCA card at a lightrail station.
SeaTac is most reachable by lightrail train or rideshare/cab.
The hotel is most reachable by the #5 bus or rideshare/cab.
The Ceremony (our house!) is most reachable by our Wedding Day shuttle, the #5 bus, or rideshare/cab.
The Reception (Local 104) is most reachable by our Wedding Day shuttle, the #345 bus, or rideshare/cab.
The Farewell Brunch (Carkeek Park) is most reachable by rideshare/cab, by making friends with someone who has a car at the wedding the night before...or by the #5 bus followed by a rather strenuous hike! (I actually would not do this...you really need a car.)
