Main Street has tons of food and drinks. Many of our guests (being UD alums themselves) can go to old stomping grounds while being in town for our wedding weekend!

Christiana Mall and Fashion Center

If you are looking to shop intentionally or last minute if you forget something haha the Christiana Mall has tons of stores along with the Fashion Center right next door. It is about 10-15 minutes from Main Street. There’s Target, Marshall’s, Ulta, Trader Joe’s and even Costco to name a few!

Newark Reservoir

240 Old Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE

The Newark Reservoir is within a five minute walking distance down the street and is great for walking or running. Once you get up the hill you overlook the city of Newark and can walk around the reservoir!

UD Creamery

535 S. College Ave, Newark, DE

If you love ice cream the UD Creamery is a must! Down on south campus next to the stadium about five minutes from the hotel. They are open year around for fresh ice cream from the schools own cows in their agriculture department.
