On Friday, September 22, 2017, amidst the vibrant beats of the Life is Beautiful Music Festival, Matt and Megan met in the electrifying City of Las Vegas.

Matt, being the Vegas aficionado of his friend group, booked the Wraparound Terrace Suite at The Cosmopolitan Hotel, setting the stage for a momentous occasion where the threads of Matt and Megan's lives would intertwine, and the meshing of friend groups would only start to begin.

After a quick hello, it only took a few shots of tequila before Megan jokingly told Matt that he would be her boyfriend for the weekend. Then, after watching a few of Matt’s smooth dance moves, a spark of possibility ignited – had she found her dance partner for life? Unbeknownst to her, the adventure was only beginning.

The subsequent Friday, fueled by liquid courage and a classic roll of the dice, Matt messaged Megan on Snapchat, inviting her to Vegas once again. Before Megan could even think of a response, Trang encouraged her to seize the moment, because YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! Surely enough, Mama knew best and the trip was unforgettable. Matt and Megan spent more time getting to know each other and they eventually shared their first kiss on the casino floor of Planet Hollywood, sealing the beginning of their romantic journey.

Two weeks later, Matt invited Megan to watch the Dodgers play against the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series. While Megan may not have fully grasped the games significance at first, her enthusiasm was infectious, even if she occasionally found herself cheering for the wrong team. However, all doubts were erased when Justin Turners walk-off home run secured a thrilling victory for the Dodgers. From that moment forward, Megan proudly embraced her newfound allegiance to the boys in blue.

On the next date, for Megan’s half birthday, Matt surprised her with a helicopter ride over Los Angeles. This was the day that Megan realized Matt is a man of action — that if he wants to do something, he will find a way to make it happen.

May 1, 2021 — Matt and Megan moved in together at 57 Bay Shore in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach.
