Megan and CJ first met working at Five Guys in 2017. Although they didn't work in the same location, they caught each other's eye when he came into her store to print training materials. They would talk here and there about work, but their story truly began 1 year later when she sent him an ASMR video about burgers.

Ever since that moment, the two could not stop talking to each other. They made each other laugh all the time and they both fell in love with how passionate each other is about work. The two went on their very first date in 2018.

"When we first started talking, every time I would let the conversation start to die, he persistently kept it alive. I remember thinking 'man, this guy must really like me.'" - Megan

After graduating college in 2020, Megan moved in with CJ into his home, which looked like a frat house after 3 men and 3 dogs lived in it. There was hardly any furniture except for a ripped up couch with its stuffing pouring out, a 20+ year old end table, and a dining table from Amazon that CJ bought for $39.99 that was falling apart. After his roommates moved out, Megan gave the house the feminine touch it needed by buying all new furniture and decor.

"Moving in with Megan was the biggest change of my life. Decor was not something I was familiar with. She hung an old camera in a square frame in our hallway. I still have no idea why." - CJ

It wasn't until late 2022, when they got engaged. Love was in the air at Megan's new job, and she was inspired by all the engagements and weddings going on in her office. And if you know CJ, then you know he loves a good PowerPoint presentation. So one day after work, Megan cooked CJ a delicious, home-cooked meal, served themselves some wine, and then proposed to him with a PowerPoint, listing reasons why they should get married. The look on his face was priceless.
