Megan and Brian met for the first time in September of 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional on the neurosciences unit. They quickly became acquaintances and started running into each other at weekend gatherings with their other work friends. When Brian was planning his 26th birthday party, he would later admit that it was all in an attempt to officially meet Megan outside of work. He very casually asked for her number that night and they went on their first date a week later at Seabear.

After over four years of enjoying watching sports (Go Dawgs!), going on hikes and traveling to different states and countries together, Brian decided to pop the question. So, on a warm spring evening, Brian asked Megan to marry him at the site of their very first date. She of course said yes and here we are!
