It all began in Clearwater, FL, during a time when the world seemed to stand still. Megan Orcutt and Sean Maag met by chance about five years ago in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Megan was on a girls' trip with her mom, while Sean was on a guys' trip with friends. Sean had planned to attend a festival, but when it was canceled due to the pandemic, he ended up in Clearwater instead.Megan almost didn’t make the trip. She had been sent home from work during the pandemic and was asked to return the very week she’d planned her vacation. Determined to take the break she needed, she asked for one more week and headed to Clearwater — a decision that changed her life forever.Sean experienced love at first sight, but Megan was hesitant to open her heart again. However, Sean’s persistence, easygoing nature, and ability to make her laugh soon won her over.The big question was, how would they make this work? Sean lived in Minnesota, and Megan was in Maryland. Despite the distance, their connection was undeniable. They called and texted each other every day, and on July 4th, Sean officially asked Megan to be his girlfriend.For a year, they embraced the challenges of a long-distance relationship, visiting each other as often as they could. Then, Megan decided to take a leap of faith, moving to Minnesota with Sean, bringing along her beloved dog, Harley.After two wonderful years in Minnesota, they took another leap together and moved to North Carolina, where they now reside and couldn’t be happier.What started as an unexpected meeting in Florida has blossomed into a beautiful journey of love, laughter, and adventure. They can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you on their special day!
