Our Wedding

The past year has been a little... busy. We planned a wedding, packed up our lives and moved across the country for Megan’s fellowship, started new careers; doing all of those things at the same time was a completely reasonable idea.‎Along the way, we’ve learned a lot about marriage, each other, and just how many major life changes you can cram into one year.‎Thank you for supporting us through all the chaos and being part of our story. We hope to see you in New Orleans to eat, drink, dance, and celebrate our marriage!

Our venue, Capulet, is located in the Bywater/Marigny area (about 10 blocks from the French Quarter). New Orleans has plenty of great neighborhoods to explore, each with its own personality; we’ve highlighted a few of our favorites below.

Marigny / Bywater (neighborhood vibe, closest to the venue)‣ Hotel Peter and Paul‣ Bywater Suite Hotel‣ The Mansion on Royal‎French Quarter (best for first-time visitors)‣ Inn on Saint Peter‣ The Courtyards on Royal‣ The Frenchman New Orleans by Kasa‎Warehouse District / CBD (great balance of convenience and artsy; WWII Museum)‎‎A Note on Airbnb &amp; VRBONOLA has regulations that limit vacation rentals in parts of the French Quarter, so you'll generally find more options just outside it😉.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to experience the city: 🎺 Catch Live Music on Frenchmen StreetJust a short walk from the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street is packed with incredible live jazz, blues, funk, and brass bands every night. It's one of the best ways to experience the city's music scene. 🍹 Explore the French QuarterStroll through Jackson Square, browse the local shops, admire the historic architecture, and stop for a drink or bite to eat along Royal or Bourbon Street. ☕ Eat Your Way Through New OrleansFrom beignets at Café du Monde to po'boys, gumbo, jambalaya, chargrilled oysters, and bananas foster, New Orleans is one of America's great food cities.
