It all began in a place where romance reigns supreme, The Uptown VFW. One night in November of 2019 Evan tagged along with one of his roommates that planned on meeting up with Megan and some of her friends. He walked in, saw Megan putting back some Buffalo wings, and was immediately intrigued. What a woman (Evan’s words).

After talking for awhile it came to light that Evan used to work at Culver’s with Megan’s cousin, Brenna. Now this made her heart skip a beat. A blue crew veteran!? Dreams do come true.

We ended up seeing each other again at a Christmas bar crawl three weeks later, but things didn’t really take off until we went on our first date at the one and only CC Club in February 2020. We knew we got along well and that the date would be fun, but neither of us expected anything serious to come from it. The date ended up being three hours of talking about anything and everything over a pitcher of light beer.

We were both feeling pretty excited about each other and went on a couple more dates before a global pandemic rained on our parade. The world fell into shambles in the beginning of March and made us a hardcore COVID couple. We spent a lot of time together throughout the pandemic and quickly realized that this was the real deal.

We moved in together in April of 2022 and got engaged in February of 2023. We can’t wait to get married and celebrate with everyone!
