After Megan moved to Spokane, Justin and Megan met at the South Hill Trader Joe's and slowly built a friendship over their love of cats, plants, and potatoes. As they built their friendship, talking about anything and everything, a deep, genuine respect was built for each other. As their friendship grew, feelings grew along with it, and eventually a love for each other was born.

In February 2023, even though it had only been a few months of their relationship, Justin asked Megan to marry him. She knew that it would have been crazy to say yes, but something about that crazy felt right. She said yes to him, as they were cuddling their cats together in his apartment.

Now, as January 2026 approaches, Megan and Justin are excited and happily waiting for the day when they get to share the same last name, Lutz-Plante.
