They met on Hinge, a dating app!

Their first date was a dog walk in 9 degree weather. Minnie and Mia were instant best friends and they had to let them off leash to play! The girls played in Megan's backyard while Megan and Mark got to know each other. Then all four went for a long walk around Silver Lake. It was bitterly cold and windy, but neither wanted to leave!

I had a really tough day at the hospital. I was sad, had cried at least once, after losing a patient I fought hard to try to save. I told this to Mark who said he would let Mia out (as I was going to be home later than expected because of paperwork). When I got home, he was doing my dishes! He just knew it was one less stressor on me. That was when I knew!

I was in Mexico for about a week, and didn't have an official sitter for my dog, Minnie. Meggie agreed to go over, pick Minnie up and take her to her house to let her play with Mia! I knew by the immediate love she had for Minnie and how well she took care of her! Every date with her just felt natural. I didn't feel like I was putting all of the effort in, rather, it was being reciprocated evenly!

I appreciate her caring and nurturing personality. She is a natural giver, and is incredibly selfless. She wants to make sure that everyone else is taken care of before she is!
