Once upon a time, in the thrilling world of CPA tax modules, where excitement and spreadsheets go hand in hand, our nerdy love story began. It all kicked off during an icebreaker game of BINGO, where our paths first crossed. Little did we know that this would be the beginning of a tale filled with love, laughter, and a hint of tax-related romance.

Rob, being the daring soul he is, decided to make his move during the last day of the workshop. Casually inviting Meg to play Spikeball, he was met with the unexpected response that she couldn't because of a horseshoe tournament. Rob, in his infinite wisdom, thought Meg had just given him the most extreme excuse in the book. Little did he know, horseshoe tournaments were a completely normal thing in Meg's world.

Even though numbers weren't exchanged at the end of the tax module, Meg, in true FBI mode, managed to track Rob down through the magical realm of Facebook. And so, a digital connection blossomed into a real-world rendezvous.

Cue our first date—an adventure to Paul's Tomb, our now-favourite spot any time of the year. Rob had it all planned out: a picturesque hike, a bottle of rose, and a romantic lookout where they could share a glass of wine. However, the universe had other plans. The bottle of rose turned out to be corked, and a corkscrew was nowhere to be found. A little hiccup turned into a hilarious memory as they navigated the challenges of opening the stubborn bottle.

It didn't take long for them to realize that this was more than just a memorable date—it was the beginning of a lifetime love story. Fast forward through shared laughter, countless adventures, and a few more tax-related shenanigans, and here we are today, ready to embark on the next chapter of our happily ever after.
