We both went to Augsburg University and had lots of mutual friends. We would see each other in passing and were always friendly to one another. One evening we saw each other at a friends house and started chatting. After that evening we texted back and forth, but nothing too serious. One day Megan had been talking to some friends and Jamie came by and invited them to come watch him play baseball. Megan told her friends that she had been talking to Jamie a little and her friends said she should go for it! We have been each others best friend ever since and can’t wait to spend forever together!

We were visiting some friends out in Arizona. Jamie had planned a hike at Piestewa Peak in Phoenix. As we started the hike, everything seemed completely normal to Megan. However, Jamie was not feeling so normal. Our friends were with us and were really positive the whole day, saying how great of a day it would be. As we got closer to the top, the more nervous Jamie became. Once we reached the top, Megan thought that Jamie was really out of breath, or something was up. Before she knew it, Jamie was on one knee and proposing! We couldn’t have asked for a better day, and have been planning our big day ever since!
