Megan and Johann met for the first time at a backyard BBQ in 2020, striking up a conversation near the end of the night. Leaving the night, they both hoped they might bump into each other again soon. As fate would have it, they did begin to cross paths more often, whether it be at their favorite coffee shop (Hyde Perk) or on the river. After 2 years of always leaving their local encounters with a smile on his face, Johann finally saw the writing on the wall and took the leap in asking Megan out. To his relief, she said yes, and they picked up right where they left off from that backyard BBQ as their first date was 4 hours long over drinks and walking the streets of Boise that evening. From there, Megan and Johann quickly became inseparable, bonding over days and nights of spending time in Boise’s foothills, enjoying their favorite restaurants and coffee shops, and discovering new TV shows and movies together!

After 16 months filled with incredible memories, Megan and Johann got engaged in the foothills of Boise, overlooking their favorite city and reminiscing of the life they built together. Crazy how a casual conversation at a backyard BBQ could lead to this beautiful, fun loving relationship solidified by this upcoming wedding.
