It all started with a chance encounter. Neither of us could have imagined that what began as a casual introduction would become the most important chapter of our lives.

We met at a rainy football game at Nippert Stadium during our freshmen year of college at the University of Cincinnati. From the very first conversation, we knew that we were going to be good friends.

We remained friends for the next two years of college but only ever hung out in a group setting. Junior year of college, Hal went to Georgia for an engineering internship and that was when things changed. While he was away, we FaceTimed every week for hours and hours talking about anything and everything. Once home for winter break, we began hanging out just the two of us. We went to the movies, a ski resort, and even spent New Year's Eve together. Once we returned to school that spring 2018 semester, we decided to give it a shot and have been together ever since.

Since then we have created countless memories together: moving to Cincinnati, traveling to South America as well as numerous other destinations, renting our first home, and adopting a dog.

In 2024, Hal planned the perfect surprise. It was February 22nd and Hal had told Megan that they were going out to dinner to celebrate his large bonus from the previous year. As Megan is getting ready, Hal is decorating their back porch with rose petals and candles. Hal calls Megan to come outside and when she walks out she hears "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran playing in the background and sees an engagement ring surrounded by candles and rose petals on their patio table. Before Hal can even get down on one knee, she starts crying and says "YES!" It was a moment we'll never forget.

Now, as we prepare to start this next chapter, we're so excited to celebrate our love with all of you - our closest family and friends. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We can't wait to dance, laugh and make even more unforgettable memories with you on June 29th, 2025!
