Megan and Michael met through mutual friends when they were in 7th grade (in 2005!) at a carnival in Stratford, CT and had been in the same friend circle ever since.

After years of having crushes on one another, Mike (finally!) got the courage to ask Megan to be his girlfriend at the end of Junior year of high school (2010). This was a a big deal because neither of them had ever seriously dated anyone before and they went on to date for 4 more years!

Because this is now a happy story, we can look back and smile...but in 2014, Megan broke up with Mike their Junior year of college and they didn't see much of each other after that at all!

For seven whole years apart, they both went on to do other things, date other people, live in other places, and grow up a LOT.

Then, in December of 2020, Megan moved back to Connecticut and "tried to be friends with Michael" only to realize that neither wanted to just be friends. However, because Michael is quite shy and Megan wasn’t sure how he felt, she had to take matters into her own hands…

At a New Year’s Eve party hosted by Jake Urquidi and with a little liquid courage, Megan cornered Michael and asked him how he felt about her.

“You’re it! You’ve always been it” was his reply, and the rest is history.

Megan and Michael have been happily back together ever since. As the same young couple now older and wiser and even more in love than ever before, they have built a life together and are beyond excited to become married.
