Megan and Matt's love story began on a January night in 2022 at the Black Saddle in Green Bay. Megan was in town visiting a friend, as she was living in Spooner at the time, when they spontaneously decided to go to the Black Saddle. Matt had been ice fishing for the day with friends, and they too decided to head to Black Saddle. Megan and Matt soon met at the dart board and played a couple rounds of darts and talked the rest of the night. Soon after, Megan and Matt had their first date in Wausau, due to the distance between them, going on a hike, to a local brewery, and sharing dinner before parting ways. They both realized this was the start of something special and started getting to know each other more and more. Megan soon moved to the Green Bay area and the two of them were able to start doing their favorite things together more regularly, including fishing, hanging out with friends, and spending time together.

Fast forward to June 10, 2024, Matt proposed to Megan on the rock on Lake Vermilion, a place that has always been very special to Megan, and now a very special place for the both of them. They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and share their special day with family and friends!
