Keith and I met in 2011 at Colorado State University during a timeless tradition of "Painting the A." As students in the College of Agricultural Sciences, we began to form a strong friendship and leaned on each other for support. It was through our love of pancakes that brought us together on our first date at IHOP. In 2014, I moved to Virginia to attend veterinary school and for a very long year we proved that even 1,668 miles couldn't separate us. In 2015, Keith moved to Virginia and joined a high-end residential landscape company in Northern Virginia and volunteers at Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department. Between my demanding veterinary school schedule and his demanding hours, we have continued to maintain a loving and strong relationship. Our happiness lies in our careers, passions, successes and our amazing little dog Brentley. We make it work for each other (and the dog).
