"Once Upon a Time at Chick-Fil-A" This story starts out when a certain beautiful young lady - my beautiful Megan - heard me yell from the Haywood Road kitchen during a short remodel. Needless to say she immediately thought that I was (in her words) loud and attractive. In fact, she thought that the only reason I got away with being so obnoxiously loud was because I was so incredibly attractive. I thought she was the cutest girl I had ever seen.

Fast forward a few months to when the Haywood store - her home location - merged with my store - the Laurens Road Chick-Fil-A! We started talking more at work and one thing led to another (kinda). I knew she liked me the moment she told me that she had an interview with her potential grad school and was literally jumping up and down to tell me. Needless to say I was already smitten by this pretty young woman with bangs and the sweetest spirit.

We went on a group hike with some work friends and talked without taking a breath for 2.5 hours. I was convinced that this young woman was the most incredible woman I had ever met. I have never been happier to be so right.

Not long after the hike I finally asked her out! She said yes (while giggling) and we set our first date on that Friday! It was truly love at first site during that first date. Throughout the next several months we fell madly in love and spent time reading, watching movies, walking around downtown looking for art, and hanging out with her family every weekend! After we talked to her parents and spent long hours in prayer, we got engaged and started this wonderful journey towards marriage!

We found out quickly that our greatest commonality was found in our identity in Christ. We knew that we wanted to get married and live a wonderful, simple, and obedient life together. And now we get to! Thank you for coming to our wedding and joining in the beginning of our married life together!
