Robby and I got to know each other working side by side in a fume hood. I, a persistent extrovert, worked really hard to get Robby to be my friend outside of work and it totally paid off. Robby and I have been best friends since the summer of '15. We spent that summer hiking up cliff faces, wandering up random creeks we found around Walla Walla, dancing late into the night, and sleeping less than ever. In my opinion, we were instantly in love.

The next two years finishing our degrees in chemistry would be... well, let's just say challenging. However, everyday we discovered that the hard was easier together. We learned from each other. We created a safe space for the other to grow. And we knew that our individual goals would flourish under a shared trajectory.

So the summer of '17, I asked Robby to commit to that goal, and we've been pretty freaking stoked on that decision since.

This wedding is the celebration of our commitment to sharing this love that emboldens not only us but the people who we share our lives with. We can not wait to eat, drink, cry, and dance with everyone cause this love is pretty amazing.
