Connor & Meg both grew up in Scotland, CT. Only separated by a road and a couple miles (and 5 years), they may have met much sooner than they remember. They both have always shared a love for the little small town they knew so well, and had a lot of similar memories.

Connor had moved away from the small town, but had come back to work for the highway department years later. With only two workers for the entire town, he was very well known.

Meg had grown up two houses up from the highway department and had jogged on the roads everyday.

One day, Connor had tried to approach Meg on one of her jogs while on the town tractor. Meg had caught Connor’s eye for a couple weeks now and he wanted to strike up a conversation. Just when Meg stopped to say hi, a car behind Connor was beeping and causing a commotion. Connor had dropped the hazard signs off the back of the town tractor unknowingly, and the car alerted him to stop.

Meg had ran off while the car stopped to help him collect his signs. From then on, it was a game of friendly waves and smiles from a far. Meg told her family of the “cute new town guy”. And Connor told his family of the “cute girl up the street”. Until one day, they finally connected. Connor asked Meg on a date, and they went on a road-trip that same day.

From then on out, they were inseparable. Meg was amazed that she met the man of her dreams doing something she never thought would lead her to meeting someone, jogging. And Connor was just as amazed that he met the girl of his dreams in his hometown.
