Megan and Myles met at Iowa State University in Fall of 2017. Megan was a freshman and Myles was a sophomore. After Myles graduated, he moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Megan followed after she graduated.

Megan is a second grade teacher and Myles works at Children's Home Society as a Youth Relief Counselor. They live with their two spoiled dogs, Jake and Poppy.
