Welcome Party

Attire: Smart Casual (think somewhere in between business casual and semi-formal)

We are hosting a Welcome Party for anyone in town the night before the wedding to kick-off the festivities! Its open for all guests to attend, but please RSVP (included in the wedding RSVP page) so we know who to expect. It will be in the upstairs bar and patio space at 5Church Restaurant and Bar (see address above as there are multiple locations). There will be light hors d'oeuvres and drinks served. As Shaky Knees Music Festival will be going on at the same time, please advise that parking may be competitive. 5Church does not have its own parking, however there are multiple lots/decks in the area that you can reserve ahead of time. Please see the details and accommodations pages for more info on parking for both the Welcome Party and Wedding.

Ceremony & Reception will take place at the Wimbish House; Doors open at 4:30pm with ceremony to start promptly at 5pm, followed by a cocktail hour and reception.

Important Wedding details:

- This is a kid-free wedding. No children under the age of 16 will be allowed at the venue-- ceremony or reception. Please make accommodations in advance for childcare.

Update:

The Shakey Knees Music Festival was recently rescheduled to September 19th-21st at Piedmont Park. Please book accommodations as early as possible and account for much more congestion in the area than originally anticipated. Please plan accordingly for traffic to be heavy and parking and hotels limited. If driving, please plan on leaving earlier than anticipated to ensure you make it on time and see the accommodations page for how to reserve parking in advance. Late guests will not be able to attend the ceremony.
